Colonial First State (CFS) has renewed their lease at their Hawthorne workplace in Melbourne, providing impetus for a refreshed workplace.

The repositioning benefited from a sustainability strategy, that included the reuse of existing workstations and chairs, coupled with the repurposing of loose furniture by staff. CFS had first approached Cerulean in Sydney given the successful delivery of their Sydney workplace. With the Hawthorne location sited in Melbourne, Cerulean partnered with 3-point Australia, with 3-point leading delivery of the fitout on ground.

The key areas of refurbishment included reception, kitchen breakout and collab areas, with new lockers installed. The final outcome was truly transformative scoring highly on CFS’ staff survey.

Key Outcomes:

• Completion of the project within budget to meet CFS’ relocation targets within a staged live environment.
• A refreshed, modern and flexible workplace for 400 employees that achieved a balanced occupancy and enhanced functionality for the staff.
• Successful collaboration between Cerulean and 3-point Australia to meet the Client’s objectives.
