The NSW Government funded $4.7 million to deliver a new satellite Community Dialysis Centre at Blue Mountains Hospital featuring six spacious treatment spaces that operate as a satellite unit for the Western Renal Service.

The new unit, developed by Health Infrastructure (HI) brings essential dialysis services much closer to home for Blue Mountains and Lithgow patients. The challenges on the project included working in a live hospital environment, on a relatively remote location within a limited construction zone.
